Lora Guerra, MPT, NCPT
Lora Guerra is the owner and founder of Cary Pilates. With over 20 years as a Physical Therapist, she brings a deep understanding of movement and healing. She earned her Pilates Certification from The Pilates Center in Boulder, Colorado, after training locally at InsideOut Body Therapies in Durham, NC. As a Nationally Certified Pilates Teacher, she works with clients of all ages and abilities, helping them move and feel their best.
Lora is passionate about making movement accessible and empowering. She creates a welcoming space where clients gain strength, balance, and confidence. Her teaching blends mobility and fascial release techniques to ease pain and tension, ensuring each session feels both effective and restorative.
She specializes in working with clients dealing with low back pain, postural conditions, sports related injuries and injury prevention, pregnancy and post-partum, neurological disorders, and dysautonomia. More than just guiding movement, Lora helps clients understand why each exercise matters and how it can improve their everyday lives.
Outside the studio, Lora loves traveling with her husband and two daughters. They’ve lived in Puerto Rico and Switzerland, and she’s always up for an adventure. She enjoys tennis, running, skiing, and unwinding with a good book on her porch. Lora earned her Master’s in Physical Therapy from UNC-Chapel Hill and her B.S. in Biology from Wake Forest University.
